That table looks like it could be DIY'd(is that a word? is now!) with a stencil and come paint....like stripes....I can't describe how but I can picture it. like if its glass use whatever to block out the design and then use a dark color to make it show up and voila! or use masking tape(like i'm going to!) carve out the design/stencil and spray paint it....rip off the tape and again voila!

Crafty folks such as those found here could probably pull a table like that off! Make sure your glass top has smooth/rounded edges. And do your painting/ stenciling on the bottom. This desk is lovely for crafting because glue comes right off. (Not that I get glue everywhere all the time or anything...) I also love the playful shadow patterns it throws up on the wall. My room is 90% complete,... I'll try to update with pics tomorrow
