wow--a hemp belt?  That must have taken forever!  Well, it would have taken my clumsy fingers forever, haha.  Love to see a pic of the stitches...if it wouldn't be too much of a spoiler for a future partner that is.

And pops -- I think thrifty is in the hippie repertoire -- at least it is for this hippie!  So no worries  Grin

Here's a closeup of the stitching on the belt.  If this ends up going to my future partner, it will just not be a surprise on only ONE thing she will get Smiley

Full length

I made one just like this, only bigger, for me.  I didn't put any beads on the belt, I put them on the strings at the end to weight them down a bit.

Ok< I claim Sapphire Moon for my Partner Smiley  I made me a belt like that years ago and it got lost or taken, not sure. I had put beads on the end too! You have good taste!

A little about me... I am more of an earthy hippy. I like earthy colors, corduroy, and old vintage fabrics. I don't like the neon colors and big peace signs or skulls. I am not goth at all, although recently I have been wearing a lot of black but thats probably because I've gained a few and black is slimmest, right??

*lol* Nice try Giddiup but Sapph already has a partner (they requested each other at sign-ups) so the rest of us are going to have to dream about macram belt goodies!   Grin
And that is a pretty belt Sapph! I can see that this is going to be a brilliant swap gallery again folks  Wink

I have really been resisting the urge to buy a few supplies for this swap due to waiting for specific partner details. It is KILLING me!!!! Oh, sweet 26th of June, come soon!

I can't wait! Oh, I forgot to mention that I have learned how to sew cloth pads so if my partner is into it, I am happy to whip a few up.  Once I got the hang of it, it's pretty easy- only fiddly part is putting the snaps on.
