So we do not have much money to spend on our wedding ( i think we are doing the whole thing for under $1000) but I still want to do something cool for the wedding party. They know we just bought a house so I don't think they expect much still I want to make sure they know how much we appreciate them.

I found the flasks on Amazon for $.50 with $4.99 s&h he had the comics and I had the mod podge. 5 Groomsmen gifts for $27.50. Not bad.

The hardest part was getting him to let me cut up comics that are cool enough to put on a flasks but not too cool to cut up. This was a bit of a battle, but we are pretty pleased with how they came out.
The flasks that I used the pages were the easiest but they aren't as colorful. But the colorful ones that I used the covers wrinkled, I bet it has something to do with the thickness of the paper. Anyway I still have to spray seal them and if the pics look a little over processed, I played with he highlighting to cut down on a bit of the glare.

I love this! I've wanted a flask for awhile, and now I might break down and buy one to decoupage. I'm thinking magazine pages might be cool.

Those are SO COOL! I was thinking about doing flasks for the grooms men and the bridesmaids- but havent been able to find them for a good price. I was also going to get them engraved (zzzz....) but you have inspired me!
