Fall/Autumn Decoration Swap? I know, I know, it's not even summer yet...

BUT... I was wondering if anyone would be interested in thinking ahead and crafting some fall decor. I don't do much in the way of Halloween decoration, but I love love love pumpkins, fall leaves, apples, cider, harvest, and all the wonderful things that come with fall. I used to have alot of fall decorations, but due to a fire, not anymore. It's been several years, but it's never been a priority to replace them. I'd love to organize (it'd be my first time!) a swap for fall decorations. This would NOT be a Halloween swap. I'm talking about decorations that can go up in Sept and stay up through Thanksgiving. I'm totally not against the awesome Halloween swaps, but this one would focus on the whole fall season.

I was thinking about mid July signups and early September sendout. The fall decorations and supplies start to go up in the craft stores in August I believe, and that way we'd have crafty ammo to work with. And if sendouts are early Sept, then we'll have all season to display our goodies. Anyone have any thoughts? Interest? Should I expand this to include ANYTHING fall-ish, not just decor?

I love Fall and could totally rock a Fall swap right about now.  I think it should include anything fall-ish.  While decor is great...  I like a good coffee cup, or a scarf, or a shawl.  Or like I did in last year's fall swap, a lap-ghan that somehow feels like an afghan.   Cheesy

Yay! I'm glad there's some interest. I definitely agree- I think it should be ANYTHING fall related!! How does the signup time I mentioned work for you all? Mid July? I'm excited to get going!

YAY anything fallish, and the timeline is fab.

Here are some past autumn swap galleries to get y'all inspired! Grin

I would definitely be up for this, if UK swappers are allowed!  I love Autumn, but have rarely found the time to craft for it with other things taking priority.
