I just finished this dress tonight. I know others on here have made it (with awesome results!) and reviewed it, so I'll just add my two cents:
The payoff on this pattern is great--it ends up being an easy-to-wear day dress with very generous-sized pockets. It's not a terribly difficult pattern, but you'll want to keep your wits about you when you do the pockets. The instructions get a little hazy there. I thought it was pretty true to size as far as measurements go, but if I did it again I would make the bodice a size smaller and I would do an FBA. I used a cotton pique I've had in my stash for ages.

AH! The fabric is soooo cuuuuuute! It must have been waiting for just the right moment to jump out and say "Make S2591 out of meeeeeeee!"

Glad to know I'm not the only one who had pocket-problems with this pattern Tongue

That's darling! It looks "custom made" rather than "home made"

Simplicity patterns are getting surprisingly stylish.

So cute! I love pockets in dresses so much, I think it might be worth the hassle! Haha

Cute dress it is. Fabric looks very soft and pastel color is going good with this dress. I like polka dotted dresses. It gives the cute and cool look.

The fabric and the fuller skirt with the button waist reminds me of "the polo dress" from Pretty Woman.
