I always have the best of intentions to do Craftster Challenges, but then I get so intimidated by all the great entries! This time around, I decided I absolutely had to enter since I bought the game. Lol

I picked up Candyland at my thrift store for 2 dollars, and brought it home only to be disappointed by the lack of fun pieces! My daughter quickly claimed the 4 plastic player pieces and the actual gameboard for her playdoh, so that left me with just the cards, which are pretty bland.

My first thought? Inchies! But then after measuring, realized the colors were 1 1/8 inches x1 1/8 inches, and I thought I could cut them to exactly 1 inch, but Im all about saving time, and measuring does not save time! Wink
So I decided to make one thing I am always running out of! Cute little cards for my swap packages!

And just a reminder, this is what the cards look like originally!

Thank you so much for looking! I had a blast making these! And please don't vote for me because you feel sorry for me! Just having fun here!  Grin Cheesy

Very cute! I can imagine my little brother freaking out over his favourite game being cut up, so i'd better not try it! Smiley

Aww, pixieval, those will be great in your swap packages. How thoughtful to do little note cards. I am usually running so behind anymore a hand written note is the best I can do, but thank you for the idea. I need to make some notecards.

I have a split personality, because you guys crack me up.  AND The best day I ever had was TODAY!
