Make Art - Not War

Recently I did this 'doodle' in my Visual Journal and shared it here.
Here it is if you missed it:

For me a Visual Journal is a safe place to 'try' things as well as a sort of 'workbook' to help inspire ideas for future projects...

Today just for FUN I let this journal entry inspire me to go 3-D!

I used a cracker box and a Jell-o box by simply gluing them together and giving them a base coat of gesso. I then combined the use of acrylic paint, water-based paint pens, and opaque markers to create my version of a Mediterranean village  Grin

When you work play in your journal what other ideas does it inspire?

Jolenemarie,

I love it.  I think it is so much fun to make things with boxes because once you support them and get a coat of gesso on it - they can become anything.  I like the city scene too.  Post more soon!
