Willing to personal swap for art of my doggies!

I made this recently for the OTT Holiday ornament swap, but unfortunately it did not make it intact in transit.

I took a glass ornament, and removed the topper/hanger.  I coloured it silver, and etched snowflakes around the ornament with etching cream.

I punched holes in the hanger and made a banner from shrink plastic, and letters and snowflakes also.  I coloured the banner and letters before shrinking, and cut in the holes too for the banner.  After shrinking, I glued the letters on, and tied some fine nylon thread onto the banner and secured it to the topper, as well as some of the larger snowflakes, so that when they were put into the ornament, they would dangle in the center.  Inside, I added some pearl and clear glass beads and some micro snowflakes made from shrink plastic.  I glued the topper on, and wrapped an piece of inked twill ribbon around it, which I stamped with a sentiment - Merry & Bright.  Finally, I made a curled hanger for the top with an 18 gauge wire that I hammered to add hardness and texture to.

I am very sad and sorry it did not make it Sad  This was actually an idea I had in my mind, for awhile, that come out again when pjr107 mentioned snow/snowflakes as a potential theme.

I am thinking about it.  It just took so many stages, and also if I make something for myself - it tends to get pushed down the list.  Maybe I may make a few for next years ornament for family/friends, since I do a different one each year.

Just lovely.  So sad about it didn't make it intact, but at least you have this fab picture to inspire others.
