I was taught at the age of 7 how to crochet, thanks to my lovely grandmother. I've been fiddling around with it ever since. I've never successfully made anything accept scarfs and washcloths. and usually even those und up getting frogged because I can't stand looking at their deformed little selves. lol. but i'm actually pleased with this one... for the most part.

What do you think?

You did a great job! I love how the hat has gaps in it, so you can see your hair. I also love how the hat is kind of slouchy and has your hair tucked in it. That style is so cute. Also the color just pops! I would SO wear this hat.
