9 days and counting

Shoes…sigh. Here is the problem. It’s not a problem really, just a challenge. Erick and I are almost the exact same height. He may have like 2 inches on me, but if I put on a 3” heel I am taller than he is. That’s not really an issue but I want to wear flats. I am also not really interested in breaking my ankle during my wedding.

I was talking to my friend Sarah about the whole flats versus heels and she pointed out flats would be fine but not white ones because, and I quote “Then you would own white flats.” Double sigh. I mentioned to her that I just want to wear filp flops and in her genius she replied “So wear flip flops.” I think I keep Sarah around to state the obvious to me.

Behold $6 target flip flops turned wedding roman sandals with sheet scraps from my dress and vintage earrings.

I really really like those, and I'd wear them just with a jean skirt, in a different color maybe. Anyway, genius! Congrats on the wedding!

GENIUS!!! Sarah is a true friend (keep her as they are hard to find  Wink ). They are gorgeous!!! Congrats on the wedding, Erick is a very lucky guy, you're already putting his needs (ego) first.  Shocked LOL!!! Just kidding. Wishing you and Erick a blissful long happy life together.
