I really like them.  Especially Alice, but that's because I have an unhealthy obsession.  I also really really love the rose over the sheet music, because I like when people use sheet music in images.  I don't think you should listen to your sisters at all, and I love your style of work.

They ALL look great to me. I can't wait to see pictures of the final project. Grin

these are awesome, you should be proud of your work! They may not be to your sister's taste but they are to mine (and I'm sure many others). They have a fabulous style.

Those are great!  I loved all of them except the 18th century woman which I'm not as fond of.  You have a great idea of what goes well together and know exactly how much is enough.  I'm also jealous of your gimp skills, I've downloaded it and fiddled with it here and there but mostly it intimidates me!  Huh  Keep going, I'm sure they'll make lovely pendants!  Cheesy

Damn straight, your sisters have little taste if they don't love these! My personal favourite is probably leaning towards the second one. Although no. 12 is pretty nice. I don't particularly like the 8th one, but that's just me, I know it's something most others would appreciate.
So, in short, good work :]

I'm really glad you're getting so much positive feedback here.  Let me add my voice to that!  These images are fantastic and, like others here, I had a hard time choosing a favorite!  Not only are your images amazing, but I checked out your etsy and couldn't resist those mum bobby pins.  Smiley

Keep creating!

These are awesome.  I can't believe they were all done digitally.  You've got excellent taste.  I'd say to go with them, and I bet you've got plenty of Craftsters who might pick them up right away!

i like them. i love the blue bird (swallow?) with the flowers, its very kitschy in a good way.
i also like the butterfly-woman and the bird with the crown a lot.

what i don't like is the text on the fairy (it blends in with the arm in a strange way and i don't like this font for this piece) and i think the text on alice is too big. and the woman in the pink dress could be a little darker to stand out from the background a bit more.

i'm sure they will make great pendants!
