I received my One Tiny Sea Creature today - and oh my goodness!  It is so sweet I just can't stop smiling when I spot it on my desk. Smiley

Living here in the Pacific Northwest, I've been so lucky as to spot Orcas and Gray Whales frequently.  They're such fascinating animals, living in such a different world of experiences from us!

The package was gorgeous even before opening:

And look what I got!  A lovely little gray whale plushie! (she has a little thread so I can hang her up too!)

Isn't she sweet?!

A few more views...

Look, she's smiling!   Cheesy

Here she is checking how to get to the ocean... she says it's so far away, she'll let me drive her there instead.  Wink

And making friends with another sea creature in the house.

Pearliepie, she is so perfect!  I can't wait to show her off to my friends!  Kiss

THANK YOU.   Grin

camelama, that's so cute. I'm glad she was nice to the little whale. My cat would not have been so kind.

hey all! I received an AMAZING gift from StarfishSea yesterday. We spent the day getting to know each other and she helped me around the house this morning. I would like you all to meet, Ella the Whale!

Ella and I started the day by working my garden. It was so nice outside this morning. Although she had a little trouble when I asked her to hoe the garden.

We soon found out hard work is not for a delicate creature of the sea. I later found her skipping out on work and hiding among the squash!

By far I think her favorite place is in the pumpkin patch! (that's mine too!!)

Like most whales, she eats a lot!! She's already ate half my apple tree!!!

And she's making plans for the harvest from today! (*sigh* to be a mother of a whale!)

All in all, we had a great first day! And she's already adapting to life in Virginia!!

THANKS SO MUCH STARFISHSEA!!!
Ella and I were meant to be! You've rocked my swap socks off!

The whales in here are totally wonderful!
My lovely partner (who sent me the bendy limbed felt octopus sweety) Iota1617 received the hand carved stamp I made for her but she's mid-move right now so I'll post a pic.

Baleen whales were the sea creature of choice, what an interesting pick! I found a great image online.

It's quite large, a good size for cards or using a faded ink for the background on note paper. Or gift wrap!

Here's the mount, it's lego! Blocks glued to a sheet block glued to sheet foam glued to the stamp. This thing gave me a LOT of trouble, it was really hard to mount the stamp to the block. Never used so much glue in my life! It had to be weighted for days until it dried too. Probably the last time I try this...
