Dude. Ninetyninety sent me the sweetest pendant EVAR! I mentioned that I love illustrations of crazy sea creatures from old maps, and this is what she made for me:

It's from a map by Sir Francis Drake, of modern-day Cartagena, Colombia (Drake raided it in 1585). It's a little under 2 inches x 2 inches.

She also made this sweet envelope (featuring sketches by crew from the Dutch East India Company):

I love it so much! And I love that she sent me some info about the images, too. Thank you!!

Everything looks awesome!! I love old maps too so those little sea creatures are amazing!! And I happen to adore guins (penguins! you can thank happy feet for my slang term  Wink ) Way too cute notebook!!

Yay, I'm glad you like your slightly butch penguin.  That pendant is fantastic, I like nightmare-inducing map illustrations, too.
