My sister is really into weird things and she loves gas masks.  So, I decided to make her some gas mask lamps for her bedlamps in her new bedroom. 

We got some child sized gas masks off of ebay and those bendy desk lamps from Walmart.  We ripped out all the junk in the filter and pretty much just fed the lamp thru the hose on the gas lamp and my husband fixed up the wiring a bit and that was it!  Pretty easy really.  I wasn't sure how to make the base, but the base of the lamp fit perfectly into the face of the gas mask.  So, I just took the straps on the gas mask and strapped it on the base and tied it tight. 

I'll add some pictures of these actually hung up once she gets them in her bedroom Smiley
