the pic came from an old issue of Bust magazine...

I thought the rolling pin idea was genius too, thanks  Kiss At least I can use my rolling pin for something now.

A word of warning about using a Xyron machine for the adhesive -- it is a very thin adhesive and it dries out over time!  I have discovered that cards I covered a year ago with my Xyron and micro beads are now losing their beads!!   Horrors!!  Better opt for the O'So Sticky Tape Craftsters!!  It's permanent!!

Hugs!
Suzanne

I have a Xyron, but never thought to use it this way!  The adhesive that's dried out, was it the permanent or repositionable?  That might make a difference.

Just a thought... This can also be done on those pre-made blank journals found at the dollar store.  Apply the beads as above onto the pic and adhere it to the cover of the journal.  Voila!  (that didn't take a genius, did it? I feel so smart)

Wow, awesome ideas!  I make books too and this would be a funky front cover!  Thansk for the ideas!

I can't remember if it was repositionable or not. But I still think oh-so-sticky tape would be the best option. Not quite as easy, but well worth the effort for it's longer lasting effects! I <3 microbeads!
