the companion cube is cute! How did you do that?

oh! It was plastic canvas and i cut out 6 squares and whip stitched the 5 bottom and sides together with tapestry wool (maybe i shudda joined them afterwards but I never thought about it until after the fact!)
and them i "satin stitched" the sides with tapestry wool, and then I crochets the details (I tried sewing and it was just too messy and ukky looking) and sewed them on.
Then I satin stitched the lid (/i cut out 4holes for the pens first) and added the heart details and then I whipped it to the sides and tried to camouflage it! (not very successfully)

Oh i also added some padding to the inside on the bottom so that the pens wouldnt get tangled up in the ends of wool etc.

I hope it turned out ok enough to use.

Ohh nice packages! From what game is the Companion Cube? It somehow looks so familiar, but I can't figure it out...

By the way, I wouldn't say no to a round 2 of this swap....what do you say?  Cool

I do want to do another OTT swap, but I was thinking more like a Halloween one right now, then maybe a VG one again later on.  Smiley
