build a bear clothes???

I have a friend who would like me to make some clothes for her daughter's build a bear(s).  I am can sew but I'm awful at drafting a pattern.  I tried to do a search on google but only came up with knit and crochet patterns.  I can barely crochet and fail at knitting.  Does anyone know of any existing patterns that work for the build a bears?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

would cabbage patch kid clothes fit them?
If so there are lots of commercial sewing patterns available for them.

I searched high and low for the same thing and finally gave up. I'm in the process of trial-and-erroring my way through a dress pattern right now. I sort of cheated and used an existing dress I had to figure out the rough size/shape of the pieces, but I am new to sewing so that makes it pretty difficult. Sorry I can't help you, but hopefully someone else can. There's obviously a demand here.

I learned that if you get ANY pattern from Joanns, or pretty much any pattern for children, modify it to fit a build-a-bears and sew!

I have a Simplicity pattern called Sew A Bear.The pattern number is 5283, and includes patterns for a party dress, swimwear, T-Shirt, denim skirt, and pajamas for 15" and 18" bears. Good luck!

Many vendors of Build-a-Bear compatible clothing tend to state that it fits Cabbage Patch Kids too, so I'm almost certain that the reverse is also true.

Quite a few Scandinavian magazines include sewing patterns for Build-a-Bear clothing. I have patterns for a Father Christmas suit, a rainsuit, PJs, a Santa Lucia gown, a hoodie and trousers from various Danish magazines. Some of them are available as downloads from
