I am going back to school in the fall and needed a new dayplanner. Of course the ones that have everything I need are boring looking, so I decided to make a cover for it out of some Hawaiian fabric I saw. It also gave me the opportunity to use some of this awful orange thread I had for some reason. Since I customized the cover, it was a lesson in measuring, re-measuring and seam ripping. Overall it came out good I think. It even has a flap that closes with a magnetic so slips of paper don't fall out.
The outside:

The inside. I took one of the sides out to show the neat ocean fabric on the inside (and to show how boring and unimaginative the planner cover was).

I also made a zipper pouch for my backpack to carry small things in so I can grab it and run:

And the zipper pull I made (old school  Wink)

Thanks for looking  Kiss

Very nice. I like that the lining is themed & matches the outside. Your little pouch is cute.

The fabric is really fun, nice job.  I love the Dot zipper pull, she was always my favorite
