I cut the shape of the leaf out of the piece of glass, put a streaky green piece of glass underneath to make it two layers and then filled the space with some big chunks of clear to fill the open area give a sense of depth to the green and fused it.

I don't know what I don't know. But I want to know.

Very nice.  I love the crocodile-skin like texture of it. Excellent creativity there!

I love the look of this!  The texture and what looks like a 'drip' at the bottom, totally rocks Smiley  Great job!

Thanks a lot.  This was actually the 2nd one I did. The first one I didn't put a 2nd sheet underneath to give me two layers and the frit shrunk enough to create holes in itself. Kind of looked like a bunch of bugs ate the leaf. Cheesy

I've got a few more designs I want to try cutting out and put a backer piece and frit but I got side tracked into the garden leaves and bird baths I'm doing. Some of the patterns I want to do I have seen in my wood working magazines for inlays. I think some of those would be neat to do.  I don't have the break away blade for my Taurus 3 so I can't do inside cuts, but I t hink designs that let you bring in a line like the stem of the leaf here, work real well too.
