I am venturing from the world of sewing to the world of crocheting and finished my very first project this afternoon. I know it may not be as spectacular as some of the amazing things here but I love it!! I wanted to make something useful so I make a comfort pack. It's just a bag with button holes and crocheted "buttons." Then I made a pack with lentils and essential oil to slide inside. Then you just button it up to secure it! If you want it heated just throw the entire thing in the microwave for 30 seconds. I am going back to college in the fall and have an hour drive three days a week ahead of me so hopefully this will help when I am on the road!
The pack all buttoned up:

Unbuttoned showing how the inner pack slips out:

Thanks for looking! Hopefully I will get some fabulous stuff finished soon to share  Wink

It's great! I love how the buttons kind of look like flowers. Excellent choice of yarn as well - the colors are lovely. I think these would make really nice gifts.

About how big is it?
