I was looking for a shrug to knit for my friend s birthday. Shimmer on knitty was the prettiest thing I saw so here it is (on me, not my friend):

Thanks for looking. This was a really fun knit. I used Cygnet wool mix aran (75% wool/25% polyamide). It's really quick because you knit it all in one piece on circular needles ( I conquered circular knitting...yay!!). I've bought more of the same wool in other colours to knit one each for me and my daughter. Cygnet wool rich is available from John Lewis in the UK for 3.75 (about $7.10) for 100g. Bargain!!

Very pretty!  You did a great job.  I've been admiring this pattern for awhile, I'm hoping to get around to it before Christmas.  It looks like it would go great with all the tanks this summer.

Fantastic job! It looks really great on you - especially with the purple tank.

The lace pattern on the back is very nice and I love the long sleeves.

Congrats on conquering circular needles! There's no stopping you now Smiley.
