And todays weird question is:  does anyone know whether wind chimes scare off birds?  Or do they co-habit peacefully?

I've got orioles and finches and hummingbirds and cardinals and two different kinds of woodpeckers all visiting my front deck, and we have been given the gift of chimes.  I don't want to drive off my new feathered friends....

I don't seem to have a problem with the chimes scaring the birds.  There is actually a nest above one set. Of course, there are two bird feeders on the porch too!

I don't have any problem, but I've had some type of windchimes hanging on the front porch and the back deck ever since I moved here. I think they are pretty use to mine, because there is always a slight breeze causing them to ring-a-ling-ling quite a bit. Smiley
