I am visiting family up in Providence soon and I've heard that its the East coast capital for jewelry supply!  I am looking for any bead stores.. wharehouses.. supply stores that I can find.  Any recommendations are helpful, thanks!

hm...

There's this warehouse called Wolf Myrow in Providence that carries surplus from the costume jewelry industry. It's mostly brass, pewter, and copper (no fine metals). I haven't been able to make it yet but I've heard tales of shelves and shelves of cast pieces, findings, beads, chain, etc. The only problem is that you kinda have to buy things in bulk. I'm not sure of the quantities, though. I have the address somewhere if you are interested. Remind me to send it to you!

Also, Contenti is in Providence. They have a catalogue that you can order from anytime, but sometimes some of their new or discounted products aren't in there and can been viewed in their showroom. That might be worth checking out.

Also, there is a Beadworks on Thayer street.I'll send you another message if I think of any others.
