So I live in an apartment and I'm not allowed to put any holes of any kind in the walls and being the slacker I am I've yet to invest in command hooks/strips.

About a year ago my boyfriend got me a print of one of Night Windows by Edward Hopper and I never hung it up because I wanted to get a frame for it so it wouldn't get ruined.  Yesterday BF found a big rectangle of plexiglass left over from a project and I whipped out the contact paper I bought at Goodwill ages ago (cause I just knew there would be a use for it) and fashioned a "frame" to protect my print and stick it to the wall!  The edges need to be trimmed a bit but I'm psyched that I can actually put things on my bare boring walls!

If you putty the little holes pack up, can they tell? Even if they can't, that's a cute idea.
