Oh what to get my father?  He is sooo difficult as he really has no hobbies except more work and we really aren't all that close.  He loves well, work ...and the history channel - seriously, he's not into music or reading, has no hobbies, no favorite color, and doesn't care a lick about fashion!  If he wants something he buys it.  SO with that in mind I have been working on this project for sometime - and finally found a gret frame and its finished even though fathers day is far off - bummer - hopefully soemone will see this!!

My gma found an letter from a relative while fighting the civil war - i copied it - PS'ed  some so it would be a bit more clear to read and then faux antiqued - found this great frame and well here it is... I think he will actually LOVE this - and I can't wait to give it  to him -

You should get a big kiss from your Dad for this gift. It's a really great idea!

Very cool gift, I think he'll love it. I'm a history lover too and I would love to have something as cool as this to hang on my wall.

That's too cool Smiley

I may have to try something like that for my dad.

What a great gift. I think I am going to do this with some of the love letters my husband sent me while we were dating! I keep them all in a bundle in box under my bed, but this way we could enjoy them. Thanks for the idea. ---Mel
