I love crafting and my supplies are slowly but surely taking over my entire apartment, much to the chagrin of my boyfriend. We share our apartment with out crazy rat Greyson, who is determined  to eat us out of house and home and  become the fattest rat around. Cheesy I'm really easy to please but I cannot stand things that smell smoky and I am allergic to large amounts of dog hair, especially to lab and golden retriever breeds.

Looking forward to swapping!

I claim tracethekat for a wisty surprise and some chemistry goodness!   Grin

1st claim this round, 0 in transit, 0 received.

Hi!  Im Alicia!  Im 21 and am back at home in Illinois until I move to Wisconsin for grad school in chemistry in the fall!

Likes:  lots of color! (especially blues and greens), argyle, anything food or cooking related, sciencey things, using old or unloved things to make new useful ones, wolves, video games (Luigi is my favorite!), BOOKS (fantasy and scifi fo sho), faeries, Ireland, and vintageness.

Dislikes:  super pink and cutesy or death/goth things (somewhere in the middle is generally good).  Other than that, the sky is the limit!  Im pretty easy to please, and no allergies!

Crafts

Wool socks (US womens size 10).  I got turned onto these when I lived in Ireland; they are so warm!

Homemade bath/beauty products- I have eczema, so anything with dry-skin friendly ingredients would be spectacular! I like lighter and floral scents more than things like cinnamon or strong fruit scents.

A handmade clasp for a cloak Im going to make.  It will be an open cloak (think Lord of the Rings style) and I would really like a beautiful clasp to close it with.  Color will be either light or tealy blue or a jewel tone purple.  It would be the only ornamentation on there, so you could go as complicated as you want with it, but I would want any metal to be silver.

A D20 dice bag like this]http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=322077.msg3714609#msg3714609]this
Could be any colors or fabrics, this one's just an example!

 A Jar of Whimsies

A book locket necklace!  Ive seen several different kinds of these, and loved them all!

I would love a Luigi plushie/ami like this]http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=319961.0]this  Really any kind of Luigi-related stuffie/pillow/other cuddly item would be epic, not just this kind.

A shirt with No power in the verse can stop me from Serenity stenciled on it.  Can be however you want to do it except cutesy (the character who says this kicks butt like no other, if you dont know the movie, so it would just not work)  Womens M for a regular tshirt, if it runs tight/short then L.

A cute small wallet (id card sized)-I like to just take my debit card, license, etc, but am afraid of one of them falling out of my pocket.  If there was a clip on it so I could hook it to my belt loops, it would be super awesome!

Anything related to:  Good Eats (AMAZING food/science/cooking show on Food Network), Back to the Future, or the Tenth Kingdom (90s fantasy miniseries by Hallmark-my favorite movie of all time)

My wist is not very big yet, but anything off of, or just vaguely inspired by, the things on there would be great!  I love surprises, so anything that you think I would like or that you love to make, go for it!

Craft Supplies

Glass beads, pendants, jewelry findings, or unwanted jewelry that I can take apart (cameos specifically would make my day-I love them!)

Zippers- I want to make some zippered pouches, and generally practice/learn how to put these in!

Other sewing supplies- fabric, thread, patterns, buttons- If you send it, I will use it!

Latchhook yarn, or any old, new, or half-finished latchhook kits you want to get rid of

Iron on interfacing-always need it, never seem to have any!

Fuse bead starter kit- I love all the cool retro video game stuff you can make out of these!

Amigurumi starter set for absolute basic beginners.  Yarn has never been my thing, but these are all so cute, I cant not try!

Extras
Tea or hot chocolate
Any of your favorite recipes!!

Thanks in advance to whoever makes my wish come true!!

So, I wasnt going to claim for awhile but, this swap is so addicting Im going to go ahead and make a claim.

Im going to claim kitschkween for a few surprizes.

BRB with list

This is my 1st claim this round, 0 sent, 0 received

Hello!  Im located in the U.S. with my super fantastic hubby, one sweet kiddo and two super snuggly dogs.  I love to crochet, knit, sew and do a few other random crafts.  I dont mind getting things from pet friendly or smoking households.  Just nothing too smoke smelling or perfumy please.  I dont have allergies but those strong smells bothers my eyes a bit.

Themes/Things I like:
Japanese kawaii, Harry potter/Gryffindor/Hogwarts, iguanas, pugs, cherry blossoms, nintendo, dragons, gryffins, burgundy/gold color combo, tattoos, Japanese craft books, tare panda, cotton yarn, any yarn, faux fur, big comfy hoodies, cupcakes, transformers, pirates

Crafted Items:

~Baskget bag.  Perhaps in burgundy/gold/black.  Or maybe tattoo fabric, cupcake fabric, cherry blossoms, cute kawaii themes.
http://foofanagle.wordpress.com/2007/06/26/bagsket-tutorial/

~Small (just big enough for a book, wallet, ds and cell phone.)  messanger bag with a zipper closer. Solid tan, cream or grey.

~Sturdy canvas tote bags.  Normal sized for groceries or craft projects.  Nothing fancy, just plain solid colored ones with plain solid colored straps.  Cream color would be great.

~Hoodie for my pug.  Same style as the one in the picture.  Color can be different and picture different too.  Maybe a white one with a cute kawaii picture on it.  Think something cute for a girl dog.
http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=30440072&ref=sr_gallery_30&&ga_search_query=doggy+t+shirt&ga_search_type=handmade&ga_page=2&includes[]=tags&includes[]=title

~Another hoodie for pug:  This style, can be different fabric though.  Something girly though.
http://www.cutedogclothes.co.uk/#/black-and-pink-hearts-dog-hood/4534743491

~BIG WISH:
Knit Hagrid illusion shawl.
http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/hagrid-illusion

~Knit Space invader tote bag: with a zipper closer though.
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=70416.0

~These bunny hop slippers:  in tan, brown, grey or pink.
http://blog.craftzine.com/archive/2009/12/craft_pattern_bunny_hop_slippe.html

~A padded case that will hold both a ds lite and a psp.  It doest need to hold any games or cords though.  I need it just big enough for both the systems.  As Im tired of having them in separate cases.  With a zipper closer please.  One or two cases.  Prefer one in solid red and one in solid black.

Craft Supplies:
A package of all craft supplies would be great!  Used items are always welcome! Cheesy

Big Wish:
~Faux Fur-all colors!  I have a hard time finding it in stores so, this would be super!
http://www.etsy.com/listing/41543709/faux-fur-scrapbag-large-pieces?ref=sr_gallery_32&ga_search_query=fake+fur&ga_search_type=supplies&ga_page=&includes[]=tags&includes[]=title

Big Wish
~safety eyes.  And size or color.  But the bigger the better.  Also solid black would be super too!

~blank belt buckles.
http://www.etsy.com/listing/48391043/make-a-piece-of-art-with-this-oval-belt?ref=sr_gallery_20&ga_search_query=belt+buckle&ga_search_type=supplies&ga_page=&includes[]=tags&includes[]=title

Big Wish
~A hat pattern like this, but a crochet version.
http://ny-image0.etsy.com/il_fullxfull.144647884.jpg

~stamps for metal stamping.  Any design.
