Well, I am guilty of neglecting all of your responses to this thread. I admit I checked on it every day for a month or so, but no one had responded...so I gave up and honestly didn't think about it again until I saw it today. I feel terrible that I didn't come back to the thread earlier. Please accept my apologies for falling down on my duties.
I don't know if anyone is still interested in doing this, but I thought it might be something fun to do in early December. I think I can get a meeting room at one of the libraries for free. I know most of you seem to live out of town, so maybe it would be better to do on a weekend? I have made a short list of questions to answer if you are still interested, and you can either PM me or just respond to the thread.
1. What would be better for you, an evening meeting or during the day on a weekend? Or a weekend evening?
2. What city or town do you live in or near to?
3.  What day of the week would work best for you?

Let's get this party started!  I'm in school all day, and usually doing home/housework in the evenings, so weekends would work best for me.  I might could swing an early evening during the week if that's what everyone else wants/needs.  I live in Reidsville, which is between Greensboro and Danville Va.  I never realized how many of us were so close in proximity.  Cool!

Hi everyone,  I have reserved a meeting room at Benjamin Branch Library in Greensboro 12/03 (Saturday) from 1 pm-3pm. I hope this will work OK for everyone, I can always get a different time or move the date if enough people can't make it. If there are no meetings scheduled after ours, then we can stay in the meeting room for a longer period of time.

I will post more details closer to the date. Fabric_chica has offered to help organize! (thank you, thank you!)

Here is the location.. http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&tab=wlon

Thanks for your interest, everybody! This is so exciting!

If there is anyone else out there who would like to come, just let me know. I would like to know the number of participants before we have the meet-up.

Argh!  That's the only day in December (so far) that I can't meet up. Cry  That's the day I have my annual cookie exchange, from 12 to 2.  Ah, well.  I hope y'all have fun and hopefully I'll be able to make the next meet-up.

Are we still meeting this Saturday? Meeting Dec. 10th? I'm going to assume we aren't meeting this Saturday unless I hear otherwise.
