Ok, I have this photo album at home and it is beautiful  Smiley It's not mine though  Undecided and I love the paper but I don't know what its called. It's light brown, quite thick with a rougher texture than most. Each page has string tied onto it at each corner for a photo to slip in and theres tissue paper between each page. I think it was bought in India.

Any ideas of the paper type would be really good!

Alice

It looks like it could be a thick handmade paper - you can try making some yourself, or go to an arts store that has a large supply of varying paper types like Curries or Loomis.

It might also be Kraft paper, depending on the thickness. I'm not sure where to find it though. Maybe a packaging supply store? It's used as filler material a lot, or for wrapping boxes.

Looks handmade to me as well.  You can get "handmade" papers through art paper suppliers.
