I had an awesome idea for my partner but my mom said she wouldn't trust the post to get it there in one peice Cry so I'm going to have to improvise. I have another idea but it might be hard to find the supplies I need. Hopefully I can bring the idea in my head to life!

My wonderful partner and I have already PMed back and forth multiple times. She's going to be super-fun to over-craft for. lololol.  Cheesy

I cleaned something at my ceramics class yesterday- I didn't even know he had the mold for it, but when I saw it- OMG perfect! It'll be a little difficult to ship, but totally worth it. I've got a few other idea too, but most of my crafting will have to wait until I've priced all the stuff for my upcoming garage sale.  /sigh

I don't think I've been this nervous about a swap - ever. Sigh. My partner has very specific tastes and I'm so afraid to disappoint!

However, I've already started, and I'm just going to keep on going and hope it comes out to her satisfaction.
And have fun, right?

Yeah, we're super compatible and it's the first swap I've done where I'm already crafting and not hesitating (I can be so indecisive, lol)...I'm actually finished with something already!  We agreed to overcraft, and it's actually such a relief!  I usually worry I'll go overboard (or underboard) and try to think about "the points".  It's great to just MAKE stuff! Cheesy

zoma, I've noticed some swaps really send me for an anxious loop and others come so easily.  I think the biggest thing that freezes me up is the fear that what I make won't be liked.  And some subjects/themes are easier than others too...Try to relax and give yourself a confidence boost, communicate with your partner, and browse around for inspiration....I'm sure you'll have some great ideas!

The biggest tip I have is to communicate with your partner! There are probably a lot of things you can make that she'd love, only didn't put on her questionnaire. If you're totally in doubt- just PM her and tell her about your ideas... see what she thinks. Most of the time when a questionnaire is super-specific it's only because the person is trying to be helpful... I've never seen anyone receive a package and say "Gee- that's not what I asked for". Part of the fun of swapping is the surprise... and getting things you never knew you liked.

Plus- I just looked you up... and you make some AMAZING things. Anyone would be lucky to have you as a partner... so I wouldn't worry if I were you. Smiley
