I've come up with a "pattern" that I like so I plan on making a whole bunch of these! I want to sell them eventually I think, but right now the glue just isn't strong enough. I do plan on trying a bunch of different glue until I find something that does work. I dropped on of these on the carpet right after the "photoshoot" and the gear popped right off! Oh well, I'm still learning. On to pictures:

Comments and critiques always appreciated! Also I don't follow what most people think of as Steampunk, I just go with what I like and they tend to come out somewhat Steampunk/Clockpunk.

What type of glue are you using?  E6000 will make ANYTHING stick to ANYTHING just about...it's wonderful for mounting bails to resin and scrabble tile pendants, I would think it would be great with metal works too.

Thanks for the feedback Gracerawr... I'll let you know  Wink

I think that was next on my list, TheSapphireMoon, I was just using what I had on hand first. I don't know what it was, but it said metal to metal... and yeah, that didn't work very well. I just have to get to the store now...

Nice design!

E6000 is brilliant, I use this for some of my steampunk jewelry, too.

Very nice Alchamy513!! I hope you are one of my partners in the swap.  Grin

I love the various elements you used.
The first one is my favorite...but the screw makes me a bit nervous. LOL.
Nice work!

Haha, the screw was one of my favorite parts, I usually don't use them. And so far it seems to be staying as well as everything but the Tim Holtz gears... those things won't stick to anything! I'll probably use some wire wrapping for them too.
