This swap is all about filling a small flat rate box or small flat rate envelope with supplies to your partner(s) and making their day!
You will have a choice of ONE or TWO partners for this swap.Crafted items are NOT required…but who wouldn’t like a little goodie tucked in with their yarn/fabric/beads/embroidery floss/etc.? LOL!
Here are links to the small box and envelope we will be using. Flat rate boxes cost 4.85 and flat rate envelopes cost 4.75 to ship online with Click n Ship…AND…Click n Ship cost INCLUDES the cost for delivery confirmation! Delivery confirmation IS REQUIRED for this swap, and because it’s SO easy, I highly recommend using the Click n Ship method. Also, you can schedule a FREE pickup for your mail person to pick up the item!! If you don't want to sign up and ship online, of course you can ship these from the post office. They will cost you 4.95+delivery confirmation (which is .70) for the box, or 4.90+DC for the envelope....so....y
ou are spending almost $1 more to go there, wait in line, and ship in person than you would be online!
You can order these boxes or envelopes for FREE from these links, but they DO take 7-10 days to arrive as they are shipped by parcel post AKA slow boat shipping so be sure to order early!! Most post offices do stock these or have them in back (they are REALLY pushing the flat rate thing on their website to cut back on foot traffic to the counters), just pick them up in person or ask if they are not out front...again, why waste time when you have them bring them to you by ordering online

https://sss-web.usps.com/cns/landing.doThe flat rate envelope would be best suited for larger pieces of fabric, paper and ephemera, embroidery floss, patterns and booklets, or other flatter-type items. Beads, stamps, yarn, scissors, and other non-flat-type stuff would be best shipped in the small box. They both would hold about the same amount, one is really just better for paper goods because they will not have to be folded a lot, maybe just cut down a little bit.
Please communicate in the thread or by PM once a week. If this swap gets VERY large, I will coordinate a weekly check-in PM with my co-organizer to make sure everyone is still out there and plans on sending.I will do my very best to make sure wants and needs match up the best, but allergies/allergens take precedence to keep us all healthy
