Hi I knitted today for the first time, i mean i was so excited when i learnt to cast on my first stitches!! Then i knitted about 30 rows until i felt confident and decided to have a go at purling, took me a few attempts but then i realised how to do it so did some stocking stitch (i think its called  Huh) then i bound off my work and sewed it up into a little pocketty thing that isnt really anything and completed the... thinghy with a button!  Grin Knitting gives me a buzz like nothing else!! Woohoo!! Never thought i'd be a knitter, oh you and im a boy! Sorry for such a long post but this is my first so i thought i'd make it a good one!

I have msn if anybody wants to chat on it : iamwiccan2@yahoo.co.uk is my msn thing!

Thanks for listening Cheesy Byeeee! Simon

I can't wait to get this book!  My hubby is gonna get it for me for my wedding anniversary gift!  (At my request!)
I picked up Idiots guide to Knitting and Crocheting at the library, but am still searching for wooden knitting needles to get started.  I might just have to buy 'em online!  Glad to see you excited about it, iamwiccan!
