It all seemed like such a good idea at the time...

So I was slightly bored yesterday and decided to use the 8" hoop with a wicker screen I'd found at the local YMCA a few days ago for a cross stitch.
The heart is from a pattern in this awesome book called Stitch Graffiti: Unexpected Cross-Stitch that I received as an early birthday gift from my ex boyfriend.
After I finished the heart, I realized I still had some open space and at first I couldn't figure out what I wanted it to say, and then it hit me.  My favorite one-word question, "seriously?"

Since the screen had such a wide weave, I used 6 strand cotton floss for the heart.  For the back stitching, I initially tried to used 6 count also, but the letters just weren't legible.  So I tried again with 3 count and it worked out much better.

anyway, I have another 6" hoop that I still haven't figured out what to with.  Perhaps another heart to match, or maybe something different.

Simple, but cute! I like it!  I also like the "font" you used for 'seriously?'
