Heat Setting Yudu and Speedball Inks

Hi!

I've got 132 bags to heat set... just wondering if you can heat set YUDU ink in the dryer (as in clothes dryer, not the crappy screen dryer that is part of the YUDU machine!!)?  If I toss them in for say a half hour or so, do you think it would work? 

Anyone know if you can heat set Speedball ink in the dryer as well (just for future reference!)

sorry, that wont work.  you need direct heat (as in iron) or industrial heat press to set the ink.  If using your household iron, 3-5 minutes on each side.  Unfortunately, that will take a LONG time.  I dont know how much a heat press would cost... Maybe someone else would know....

Just looked up heat presses online they are pricey. I wonder about using one of those home use iron press, like dry cleaners shops use.

I know some inks you can set in the dryer, so it might be worth trying with 1 and see what happens.

I've always used the iron (with speedball and unknown brands, never Yudu), but I have been told that the dryer will work.

PS how do you like the Yudo machine?
