Hey folks!
I participated in the recent Super Mario Bros swap (Original Thread: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=341605.0), and one of the items I made (the one which I am most proud of) was a potholder!

I crocheted the actual potholder part in tunisian crochet, and then cross stitched Yoshi's head on it. Then a friend did the black border, because she was helping me with my ideas. I sewed some fabric on the back of it to give it some bulk so that it was actually functional, and... voila!

On to the pictures!

The potholder itself with the image of Yoshi:

This shows the thickness and color of the backing.

That's all, guys! Let me know what you thought.

What a good idea to cross stitch Yoshi on there.  I am going to have to give that a try sometime.  Love it.

Thanks Cheesy
The longest/hardest part of this was the tunisian crochet base.
It was the first time I'd done it on a scale larger than a couple inches wide/tall.
