A lot of work goes into organizing a swap. Post here about great organizers you have had and what made them so good. We'd like to recognize the people behind the swaps, and find out what makes swapping great.

I'd like to start with a shout out to jennieingram and pinkleo, co-organizers of the Bookmark Swap, round 2. They were each highly visible on the swap signup thread, and kept the send/receive list updated. Any time I pm'd either of them, they were quick to answer, and feedback was given in a timely manner. They made the swap fun.  Smiley

I'd also like to recognize llisaredd, who organized several of the Monthly Odd Holidays swap. She seemed to take extra care in partnering people up, was always available on the thread, and kept things running smoothly. That was another great swap. Thanks, llisaredd!

So, who do you love?

I thought endlessly_intricate did a really good job with the Simon Pegg swap! I thought my partner and I were matched really well and she also made everyone's name clickable in the sign up thread and that is always a godsend to me! Smiley

I also have to give a giant round of applause to alteredmommy, lapoli, and loves2experiment for making Shop the Swap run so very smoothly!

How fun!

I second pinkleo and jennieingram, they're always great organisers!  They always have great communication and are sweet as can be!

I think that AsphaltQueen does a smashing job too!  She seems to take care that she matches partners well.

mindboggld is another great organiser, she matches partners well and keeps in constant communication as well as always commenting in the gallery!

most definitely TwiztidBlood and sunspotted.  the ongoing wish swap is so much fun but it definitely seems like a pain to organize.  all those people claiming and sending out and lord...it gives me a headache to even think about the amount of work that goes into making sure it runs smoothly.  so THANK YOU!!!

I think kaz814 did a great job organizing the frugal swap!  It seemed that she spent a lot of time carefully matching partners, she was very visible in the thread and she even messaged me to let me know when she left me feedback! I was definitely impressed!

MareMare! I've been in three of her swaps recently, and she's wonderful! But honestly, I don't think I've ever been in swap where I didn't love the organizer.

I dream of a house covered with your art, and would love a personal swap. Pm me if you'd like to spread the crafty love! I also need blue fabric scraps for a scrap quilt!

I really liked the way Pixieval organized. She was very organized and it seemed like she really put a lot of time into partnering people up. She also addressed issues practically same day and ensured that everyones questionnaires were thoroughly filled out. I liked the checkins she did via PM to everyone as well.

Sunspotted was also a great organizer for the OWS swap I was in. While I had poor luck with being flaked on, she was really quick to help me and was very sympathetic. She really did her best to rectify the situation and was very good with communication.
