I bought things to try the coffee filter roses a while ago but I chickened out 'cos I thought they'd be really hard.

how, how, how did you make them? i have watched the video on martha countless times and i tape the first petals on too tight and cant get it to "bloom" and then the final petals i cant get to stick at all!..any help would be very very appreciated..im getting married in april and was hoping to make my bouquet out of these..thanks!

FridayAngel - check out mommymakesroses.com and the link to the martha stewart video

Shelby - are you using floral tape?  Be sure to pull and stretch the tape as you go.  I made my first one with regular paper and scotch tape... that might help you get the hang of it.

Hm, I've never had that problem.  Maybe try starting the wrap higher up the single petals, and wrapping them down securely (did that make sense?) I do three single petals at a time.
