I have to say that I'm never surprised by the post office anymore.  When Dad started working there give or take on two years ago he said it was a miracle that ANYTHING go to where it was supposed to go.  I'm sure your package will get to her soon Belladune!  Cheesy

Belladune-its Karma!  the powers that be know that I just would drag my butt to finish anything if I got my package first and didn't have one to trade off to its new home!

But DARN Post Office!!!!
thats what I get for agreeing to open it and get pictures before I send mine! LOL!!!

Oh no I feel really bad. I've been hiding from this thread as everyone is getting on with the swap really fast and I have yet to start! But don't worry partner, my exams finish Wednesday and I'll be home Thursday and as long as I don't spend too much time with my horse to make up for lost time I should start then! I'm still unsure about what to make! I have so many designs spinning around in my head but I've narrowed it down now. I'm looking forward to getting started!  Grin Grin (At last)

Looking for a vintage magazine (1974 - 1978) that has a fabric nativity set w/ people and animals. An example: http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=440861&ppuser=143144.

I finished the embroidery today at my sewing club and the ladies there approve of it.  I still need to finish the embroidered fabric into something though.

DH called me today to let me know that while I was away, it rained and the roof is leaking.  Grrrrrreat...that's just what we need right now.  Angry

Ouch!!  Hope that goes ok for you.  Maybe it's just a small area and easily fixed.

Good luck with the roof eukarya!!!

My embroidery still isn't done.   Roll Eyes  I knew it was detailed but jeez!!  It feels like it keeps growing and little details keep popping up that I traced onto the fabric but somehow didn't realize were there.  *sigh*  Anywho - the hubby keeps walking by while I"m working on it saying "wow, honey, that looks really good" then I point the tiny mistakes out to him and his answer is always "there are a lot of people who couldn't do it at all.  Its beautiful!"  Crazy hubby.  lol.

Silly question, I get MIL or FIL (mother/father in law), can somewhat tell me what DH and DD stand for?  I keep wondering always feel stupid when I think about asking so I"m sucking it up now.   Roll Eyes   Smiley
