The Press & Seal tip came form the Embroidered Handbag Swap I was in last summer. It really has come in handy.  I've even drawn in the colors I was using for the Coast Guards Seal on my brothers quilt. A real sanity saver.

I went and got the acetone...  brought up the website...  read the directions again...  and it says that the picture you use has to be printed from a laser printer instead of an inkjet printer.  Soooo.....  I traced it onto the fabric with a wash-out pen and started embriodering today.  So far I'm only using three colors but I like the way it looks.  I REALLY hope Camelama likes it since Embroidery is not my main craft.  *crosses fingers and makes some more stitches*

So I dislocated my right shoulder today and I'm right handed so I may not be working on my embroidery for awhile. (I am so ticked about it, I have a two year old and have lost the use of my right arm for the next couple weeks. Looks like I'll be changing diapers on the floor and relying on my little man to climb in and out of his car seat by himself. Argh!)

I got the mother load of embroidery thread. I already had a small tub full but now I am covered... My boyfriend saw that someone he knew was having a yard sale and he picked up two HUGE containers of sorted embroidery thread all wound on the little cards and separated by colors.I am talking hundreds of colors!!! How cool is that?!

Seems like every swap I'm in someone is experiencing a crisis. For us here it was a totally unexpected and rare tornado but I didn't get injured and none of my family are sick so I got off pretty easy compared to some of you. Hope things look up for everyone!

The bad news: There is no key to happiness.
The good news: It isn't locked.

ok, I'm more than a little stressed today.  My son, who lives with us and is only 18, got into a car accident today.  He's ok, bumps, bruises and scratches, but the car isn't.  So, we're down to only one car with 3 people needing it.   And I thought my chaufering days were over.

otherwise, I'm practicing my stitching, a little rusty.  got the material measured, cut out and marked off.

WIST it up babee...WIST and shout!!
