I found this damask pattern in the wild, snapped it with my cell phone, converted it into a vector file in Illustrator, and now I share it with you! I am so tickled with this, I've been searching for a good stencil-able Damask pattern for so long!

The download for the .ai or .svg vector versions can be found here, through my blog: http://guildmistress.wordpress.com/2010/05/25/pefect-stencil-damask/

Enjoy, Craftsters!

If this had come about when I was painting my bedroom and/or studio I probably would have used it. As it is, I may put it on a t-shirt. I love damask. (In fact, my bedspread is a similar pattern...) Thanks for sharing!

Hey there.  I'm a New Orleanian who has been looking for a damask which I felt embodied the essence of my city and the artistic influences I draw from it.  I'm a masters candidate in architecture at Tulane, I work at Tipitina's, my wife is a jewlery designer...so to say the least, we are surrounded by incredible artistic influences.  Came across this a few weeks back and knew that it was the best embodiment I had found yet.

This past Thursday (for my 30th bday) I got it tattooed on my left forearm.  I thought you might appreciate seeing your work in such a format.  Thanks for sharing!

It won't let me post pics since I'm a new member.  Here are the links.  Sorry.
