It's been so long since I posted a new project on Craftster, I feel guilty as though I've been avoiding an old and dear friend. Then I realized I've never really posted on the art boards much, which is odd since I'm a painter above everything else. So, here are few paintings I did recently. C & C welome and appreciated!

This one is the watercolor version of a freehand embroidery I did a couple years ago. (You can see the embroidery here http://jennadeleo.com/gallery/stitch/webpinup.jpg

My take on the famed Wolpertinger of Germanic lore (this one is colored pencil). I put a print of this in a pink spray-painted frame and it looks utterly adorable, I'll have to get a pic of it and post it sometime.

And a bookshelf with some ecological growth. It was originally a black and white line drawing that I did for a publishing house, but I added the full color because I thought it needed it. I like it much better this way.
