Here's a little red tree I stitched up last week. It's only 3" across, and my own pattern. Not sure what I shall do with it yet, as always!

It's lovely!  And I have a suggestion on what you could do with it.  Make it into a patch and put in on some favorite pair of jeans or jacket.  Very green!  I mean, RED!  Smiley

So lovely and tiny and red...a few of my favorite things Smiley. It's fantastic!

I like Saint_Angel's idea of making a patch out of it. You could also sew it to a bag - maybe reverse applique?

That tree is fantastic!  I just started getting into embroidery and I'm almost done with a project that I'm rather proud of.  I would love to do a Tree of Life similar to this.  Great work!

Thanks for the lovely feedback, everyone! I love the idea of reverse applique.

I love your Lil Red Tree! You have inspired me! I have been wanting to give embroidery a try. Any book suggestions?

To get you started, I would recommend Jenny Hart's "Stitch It Kit." It's super cute and comes with everything you need - thread, a towel, a hoop, a needle, patterns and instructions.

Other than that I love the books "Doodle Stitching" by Aimee Ray and "The New Crewel" by Katherine Shaughnessy. Good luck, you can doooo it!
