I got a new Ball-jointed doll (shes a bobobie sprite for anyone interested)  a couple of weeks ago. I named her Wren, she came with a gorgeous long red wig but it didnt fit the character I had in her mind, so I looked around online for a replacement wig to fit the techy sort of character I had for her and couldn't find one that would work for her character so I had to resort to making one.  This was the result.

I'm actually really pleased with how it turned out.  I didnt expect it to be that great but its beyond great its perfect for how I imagined her to be.

Shes a sort of Abbey from NCIS but more reserved.  I am going to attempt to make her some clothes. I want to make her punk stuff but I tried to make a simple skirt yesterday and it was epic fail.  how can you fail making a skirt?  Seriously I suck at sewing, thats why having this wig turn out okay was actually a surprise.

Love this wig. What did you use for it and how did you make it? The colour suits her very well.

I bought some purple fur last year as a prelude to me making a wig for myself to cosplay March from Eternal Sonata, however I never got round to it.  anyway I found this wig tutorial on Den of angels http://www.denofangels.com/forums/showthread.php?370177-Anyone-Can-Sew-Wig-Tutorial-(All-sizes-Pattern-Free)  and it looked simple enough so I gave it a go and...voila, one purple not too shabby wig, its also the only wig i've found so far that stays on her head, so I guess its like her way of telling me its the one she wants Cheesy
