The idea for this dress is not my own....it was taken from user on youtube whom I simply can't remember right now (sorry)
This dress is one of the simplest dresses that I have made (next to the infinity dress) It consists of two large shirts. The ones I used was a very stretchy rayon type for the bottom portion and a long sleeved tee (I cut of the sleeves) for the top.
For those that may be curious...here is a short tutorial
Take two shirts...I recommend tshirts or either shirts that stretch a little
The shirts are going to be placed one inside the other. The outside shirt should be inside out. The shirt that you place on the inside should be right side out. (That way, both shirts will have the right sides facing each other.) Pin the shirts together around the collar.
The inside shirt, which was the gray one in my case is going to be the skirt of the dress. To form the pockets for the skirt, just sew up the sleeve ends.
After you finish sewing the sleeves that form the pockets, what you will need to do is sew the shirts together at the neck. Some of you may need to cut off the collars of the shirt, but in this case I didn't need to. I wanted a snug fit under my boobs...that's why I didnt cut off the collars.
After this...YOU ARE FINISHED! All you have to do now is turn the outside shirt right side out and you've got a "brand new" dress
(Note: The bottom of the outside shirt will form the neck of your dress)
