From Harry Potter's library, the book entitled: Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, author Newton (Newt) Artemis Fido Scamander writes:
"The Horklump comes from Scandinavia but is now widespread throughout northern Europe. It resembles a fleshy, pinkish mushroom covered in sparse, wiry black bristles. A prodigious breeder, the Horklump will cover an average garden in a matter of days. It spreads sinewy tentacles rather than roots into the ground to search for its preferred food of earthworms. The Horklump is a favourite delicacy of gnomes but otherwise has no discernible use."

And two showed up in my garden today!!!

I think I saw a partially complete gnome lurking in my toaster over, so hopefully he'll be ready soon and start eating the little buggers.

Yes, they are polymer clay.  I made 3, but sadly, one jumped to his death last night while the last clear coat was drying.  I think they're adorable, so I'm sure more will be sprouting up soon. Smiley

This is soo very cool! I love their tentacle arms, how big are they? They look mighty tiny, but then these Horklumps could be deceiving to the eye?

The biggest one is about 4 inches tall.  I think the next ones sprout up will have longer stems so they can be strategically hidden among the lavender and heather Smiley
