So our neighbors absolutely refuse to respect the property line. Even though they have 3 fenced-in acres they still let their kids run amok all over our tiny yard. I need to put up a fence of some sort quick before they trample my veggie garden into oblivion.. it doesn't have to be dog or kid proof.. just a very visible barrier to slow them down a bit. And it must be cheap yet not offensive in appearance because the kid's dad is a county deputy and I don't want legal problems because the fence is "ugly" :p The property line in question is about 200' long.

Any ideas?

how about posts hammered into the ground at the corners of where you want to keep off and wind brightly coloured yarn to make the fence, you could hand dangly things like beads & buttons etc so it will be visible, pretty and act as a bird scarer for baby veggies?!

good luck Cheesy

Good idea.  Or string up an electric fence!  LOL!  Tempting I'll bet!

Pops has a good suggestion.  Strings wouldn't be offensive.  It's cheap and easy to do.  But I'm not so positive about the buttons and beads, the neighbor's kids might start playing with them, too.
