Been working on this one since last summer. It fits me better than the mannequin, so the fit looks a little odd.

and a view from the back:

the black sections are rubber rings, to give the band a little stretch.

Love it! Is it meant to be functional?

I love chainmaille! The rubber rings were a great idea. I should have done that with my last skirt I made, I will so be fixing it now.
Is that a music note?
Love it Smiley

That is awesome, and also super sexy!!!! My cousin works with chainmail, and I was watching him make a glove, and it looks really hard so I am very impressed.

I showed it to my BF, and he wonders if it would pinch? Can you wear it comfortably? Still awesome though. Whether it was comfy or not, I'd still wear it  Grin

It can be functional, but I don't intend to use it as such.

Yup, it's an eighth note.

It doesn't pinch, and fits me really comfortably. The rubber stretch panels in the back prevent the pinch factor.

This is great Cheesy

I was wondering, did you use 18g 3/16" stainless steel? Or some other type of metal/size/etc? I haven't tried making a bikini top or anything like that yet, but I have one with larger 16g stainless steel rings that a friend made and gave me as a Christmas gift.

The rings are 16g 3/16" aluminum. Next bikini top I make it going to be in a Japanese weave:)
