I got tired of spending $20 on good eye shadow, and then having it wear off in the middle of the day. Then I'd have to go and buy a decent eyeshadow primer for another $20. It got to be a little expensive for me!!

So, while I was shopping around for makeup I picked up some Covergirl concealer in Buff Beige (or something) only to get home and find out it was the wrong shade (After opening it!). So I went on the web and looked for a way to make eye shadow primer and here it is:

You'll need:

1 Container to hold your eyeshadow primer,
Unscented, or not very scented body Butter,
(I found mine was not highly scented)
Concealer ( Any shade, as long as it's close to your skin colour), and
a popsicle stick.

Instructions (Very simple)

In your container put half Body Butter, and half concealer. (if you add too much concealer, it will be runny. So add the body butter and then slowly add the concealer)

Be sure to mix it well

and there you go!! You're DONE!!

Here MareMare:
(I got lazy, and didn't feel like adding it, until now Wink -- It looks just like Concealer

(Remember though, you only need a wee little amount of it for your eye each time. So, don't add too much)

I know this is a silly question, but do you whack a bit of this on so your powdered eyeshadow stays in place?  I don't know much about make-up tricks.  Undecided

Yep, applying primer makes your eyeshadow last much longer! I love my (store bought) primer so much!
