Colleen Babcock, a doll designer asked me to test her newest pattern for her. It's been a while since I've made a cloth doll, so I thought I'd make one for her. The pattern is called "fathoms" a deep sea mermaid. The original was done in blacks. I thought I'd go in the opposite direction and do whites. Tell me what you think I'll pass it on to Colleen.

BTW, her tail fins are designed to be key holders. Cute, huh?

I like it and would not mind being a tester myself if anyone needs someone.

I sew, quilt, crochet, and polymer clay.

Colleen designed her to be kinds creepy. She did hers in all black. She said that she wanted something that was similar to an angler fish. You can read about her creative thoughts on her blog here:
Beware, you will fall in love with her work. Grin
