Goodness, I met a friend for lunch and came back to pages and pages of new goodies.  Every single thing is praise worthy.  I love the brown and green blanket and am ready to grow a veggie garden just so I can wist those spoon garden markers.

I got my swap package today and I love it, everything is well crafted and fun.  My partner did a great job.  The crochet market bag is my favorite!!!!  There's also a cute braided scarf, cupcake potholders, crochet potholder, a crochet cupcake, a beautiful piece of butterfly wall art, an embroidered space theme throw pillow and cute glow in the dark stars!!!  Here are pics:

Here's a close-up of the sacred heart. I had a really hard time parting with it lol.

My favorite part are the veins.  Smiley

And the item that made me jump up and down, a Jayne Cobb Hat!!! It's been on my wist for a long time. Living in Los Angeles it's much too warm for an ear flap hat but I don't care. The day I got it I stuffed it in my bag and rode the bus smiling like a little kid because I knew it was there. It's really stretchy which is good because the manflesh can wear it too. He says he'll wait patiently to get his own but we share everything so I am sure he'll sneak a wear or two when it gets cool enough.
I used the lightest yarn I could, and a more open stitch so it wouldn't be sweltering, but yeah, I guess you'd better wait to wear it. Of course if you were here you could wear it over the weekend because we're supposed to drop down to 58 degrees soon!

I have a collection of hats and when the weather is cool I wear every single one Smiley And I wear them almost obsessively... Like I put my hat back on when I wake up before I reach for my glasses. I'm sure I'll wear it lots and hope to go to a con soon just so I can wear it out.
